I am so sorry to hear this! My heart is breaking for you.
Oh no. ((((ML)))) I am so sorry for your loss.
Just saw this.
So very sorry for your loss. I could tell how special Mr. Gibbs was to you. If he is missing a chunk of tail, I am sure he points it out to the other ponies and says 'See? She'll find me when she comes!'
My deepest condolences.
Oh, I'm so sorry...he was so young which has to be hard. Crying for you and praying at the same time. Wishing Mr. Gibbs a peaceful journey across the rainbow bridge.
So very sorry for your loss
I'm so sorry. =(
Whew, I agree. This got to my heart and got my eyes overflowing. Well said.
Bad day for you ML, you gave him so much love over the years. I can't imagine a better place for him to have been. It was fast. Probably the best thing is to go spend some time with Fergie for some comfort. I would. Hugs.
I really hope we all arrive at the end of out last journey free of any imperfection of the worldly life.
A friend sent me this, made me smile a little
A wise person told me that Gibbs gave me the gift of being able to ride again, so the best way to honor his memory ride. DH wanted me to go ride today, but it is just to soon, so Saturday is when I pick up his banner and ride!
I found this right after Will's death and it helped me to get through that pain:
Don't Cry For The Horses
Don't cry for the horses that life has set free.
A million white horses, forever to be.
Don't cry for the horses now in God's hands.
As they dance and prance to a heavenly band.
They were ours as a gift, but never to keep
As they close their eyes, forever to sleep.
Their spirits unbound, forever to fly.
A million white horses, against the blue sky.
Look up into Heaven. You will see them above.
The horse we lost, the horse we loved.
Manes and tails flying, they gallop through time.
They were never yours, they were never mine.
Don't cry for the horses, they will be back someday.
When our time has come, they will show us the way.
Do you hear that soft nicker close to your ear?
Don't cry for the horses, love the ones that are here.
Ok, this made ME cry, and I haven't even ever lost a horse.
