How to get a mane like this?

    Pulling and thinning will do that but they probably used scissors or clippers.

    I had a coach once that could pull a mane like that but I never could. Thinning shears and scissors work well too but anyone that can pull one like that will be able to tell the difference!

    This is not as good as it gets fam, but he was growing weary of the task at hand. His mane is very thick closer to the poll, so thick that it spills over to the other side and he has a split mane.

    Looks pretty good so far! You need to give him a bridle path on his poll....starting right between his ears and clipping back a little beyond where his halter sits. For getting it even...I'd take the clippers to even the ends.

    That's a much better job than I'll ever do! I have no patience for pulling and neither does Bella. I use clippers and even it up with the scissors and call it good. :p

    I don't own a pair of clippers yet! But thank you! And yes he needs a bridle path for sure.
