    how much does it cost to get a stallion gelding?

    It varies from vet to vet. Around here, the appointment itself costs $50, then there is more on top for the anesthetic, penicillin, follow-up, and procedure...

    When we gelded Storm it was @$540 for the whole thing (Colorado)

    400 for on farm and 1200 for closed castration at equine center

    Last horse we had gelded was--oh--right around 3-4 years ago so prices may be a little different but should be close.
    $100-$200 around here. Varies from place to place, if you take the horse in, if you have the vet come out, etc.

    New Mexico approximately $135 for a normal castration and more for a retained testicle.

    We had one gelded last spring and it was $75.00. I also think cost depends on the age of the horse being gelded.

    it was around 150 to geld cody, and that was the castration and giving him all the shots of the season too.
