Homemade Saddle Oil?

    New saddle* help

    I know that you have to oil a saddle down to make it flexible...is there are home ingredients or homemade stuff i can use till i go to the barn??!!

    I have herd a lot of people use Corn Oil (I think that is it!!!) lol.

    NOOOO don't use corn oil! It gets sticky and gooey when it dries and will be a bear to get off!!

    Better to wait til you get the right stuff than use the wrong oil!!

    Ya know....I have had my saddle for over a year....and I have never oiled it...

    Murphy's Oil Soap works great:) (People use it on wood floors, tables, etc.)

    I was looking at Lexol?? any prefeerences on it?
