He is a beautiful color! One thing that alarms me is his steep croup, is that possibly due to his age?

    Very nice!

The look of his croup may change some with muscling, but it's more conformation related than anything to do with his age.

Thanks guys. He is mine. His lines are not known to carry pearl but he is Champagne. He is a stallion. I'm not sure why his croup would be "alarming". It is what it is but I wouldnt necessarily look at him and go OH MY...a STEEP CROUP... I am more likely to be alarmed by say... a horse with one ear. :D

I agree his croup is quite steep and it will not change a lot with age. Some muscling might make it look less steep put it will not change the actual angle.

LOL! Good point. I sure didn't mean to offend you. I mainly just commented about that because he's a stallion. 'nuff said though, it's easy to offend someone when they have a horse they plan on breeding regardless if anyone else thinks they'd make a gorgeous gelding. You do have a nice horse there. ...and I'm glad he has two ears. :D

Not a big deal really I think honestly I'm just a little grouchy. I don't mind critique I.e. Pointing out faults and assets and I don't currently stand him to the public (I really want to show him a bit first) so it's not even a big deal...I just wasn't keen on the choice of wording is all :)...and I'll try to be less grouchy because I really do appreciate ALL feedback...it is after all the best way to learn whether or not I agree is irrelevant...opinion is opinion and that is one of the great things about humanity :D
