You're worrying too much, your gear is fine..actually looks really nice. I'd remove your back cinch though. Other than that, just have fun. Judges aren't looking at your tack critically if it's appropriate for the class. Get out there, relax and have a blast. :)

Next question, what color hat? My end goal is a solid teal shirt, but I had to order online and fit is always iffy, so this is my backup.
It's got blue and black fine lines, the dressing room lighting wasn't great in the hat pics. I've got really dark brown boots, I'll likely wear dark blue or black jeans, depends on what I can find. The hat is just for showmanship/halter and in hand trail.

Straw hat (I'd get a different one without a really wonky brim)
    Sand felt hat
    Black felt hat

I think the black looks better, especially if you'll be wearing dark pants.
Make sure you get a belt as well.

I like the shape of the sand hat better.....the black one needs a major shaping job. Do they have plain shirts without the pockets?

I'm going to go to Cavenders this weekend and get one there (and get it shaped). These are just what they have at my local feed store so I can get an idea of what colors to look for. I've got to get a good pair of jeans too if you have any recommendations.

Wranglers are a great investment, Q-Babies specifically.

Think of your hat as an investment. You may eventually ride with it, so I would go with the one that will work for the most outfits. I like the black better with the shirt, but you definitely want one that is shaped right!

Trim up her legs 2-3 days before your show. I would also do the ears then. I would wait to do whiskers the day of the show.

    She'll be very cute.
