He doesn’t look anything like a halter horse.

Exactly. He looks like what he is-- a well bred working QH.

I'll go look again, but I didn't say he looked bad, just chunky and a cresty neck. I assumed they put him in a halter class with that weight otherwise I've no idea why you'd do that. Personally, I hate halter horses and I know he's not a halter horse.

Ok. No. He's not really and truly fat, but is pushing it. The neck, yeah it's cresty, even in the working weight photos. Didn't mean to ruffle feathers. He is a very stout horse, one I'd be on the watch with his weight though.

No, he doesn’t halter. He’s a performance horse. And a Quarter Horse. And a mature stallion.

There’s nothing wrong or unusual about the way he looks.

OMG. Look at all the cresty necks on the stallions.

Did you read the thread? It's stated multiple times that he's a barrel horse, roper, and has worked on a cattle ranch.
Also, in my opinion, saying a horse looks like he has metabolic issues equates to saying he looks bad (at least to you).

I agree with Arem. He looks how he's supposed to look. Nothing abnormal about him.

And saying he looks like a halter horse and also that you hate halter horses is just a round about way of saying that he looks bad....

I swear. You can’t post anything on this forum at all without people coming up with negative stuff to say.

No. You're being oversensitive. Those stallions have cresty necks, all but the first one. I never said he looked like a halter horse. I said the halter photo, the one he's wearing a halter in.

Point is, you say what you said and I feel as if you really don't want anything but lavish praise here.

I didn't say he looked bad, because he doesn't. And yeah, I do know quarter stock.[/QUOTE]

Clearly, you do not know Quarter horses. Very clearly, from more than just this thread. And no, I am not being over sensitive. Go take your negativity somewhere else. This is not a critique thread and you have no idea what you are talking about.
