Same here. I cannot take Biotin. Which is sad, because I hear it does wonderful things.

After an injury my hair pretty much completely stopped growing for about 2 years. When my body was finally healed enough to spend some energy on hair growth it was still super slow. My annual blood work came back fine, but I read that a lot of people, especially Americans, are iodine deficient. So I started taking one kelp a day, and the change in my hair was amazing! It started growing crazy fast, and the amount that would fall out on a daily basis and when I brush it drastically reduced.

Wow, I've never heard of this before. Overall I have a pretty healthy diet, but my hair has always grown slow. In a year's time I might have grown 6 inches.... maybe lol. And when I brush it a lot comes out. Defiantly gonna look into this

Ask @Austinnsgirl ... she sells some sort of shampoo system that is supposed to make your hair healthy and grow like crazy.

I dont even know if she is still on here, but you can get her on FB.

Would like to know more about this. I am always a bit hesitant to trust stuff like this tbh.

NOOOO to Monat! It causes people’s hair to fall out more often than not!

I’ll reply with suggestions in the morning because my eyes are crossing, i’m so tired. but I had to get the “no monat!” out there!

feel free to google it for horror stories

    Thanks!
Here's the link to their shampoo for those interested:RENEW SHAMPOO - MONAT GLOBAL

It does have silicones as well of a slew of other unnecessary ingredients. The ingredients they advertise are pretty far back on the list and all those eos are listed as possible allergens.
Not sure what it does to hair but it is way overpriced imo.

OKAY afer a chaotic day I have returned.
So like I said, Monat sucks. And it's an MLM product. AND causes hair loss.

I went through the same thing, postpartum. This is what has worked best for me.
Find a shampoo with no sulfates. I use Broo thickening shampoo.
BRÖÖ thickening beer shampoo and conditioner.
Comb your hair before you wash it. Also comb it with a wide tooth comb while the conditioner is in. Start at the ends and work your way up to the roots.
Don't sleep with your hair up or braided. It causes breakage.
I also take these Hair Skin and Nail vitamins.

I hope this helps and if you have any more questions feel free to ask away!

    *Note:
If you're not used to using sulfate free shampoo, it doesn't really bubble up like regular shampoo. It definitely gets your hair clean, though.
