I had to cut my hair, it was the longest I've had it in forever and I want it long again so bad. My hair takes forever to grow tho.... I've been searching online trying to find ways to help it grow faster and was wondering if anyone had any tips?

Any vitamins, or products or anything to help make it grow faster?

Castor oil is supposed to promote hair growth.
Biotin and silicium g5 are supposedfly helpful for both hair and nails.
A good shampoo without silicones and sulphates will help too.
And an overall healthy diet, of course.

Prenatal vitamins. I had hair to my butt in no time and thicker than I'd ever had.

I have found since taking folic acid or prenatal vitamins my hair has gone crazy! My mom literally had to come in the dressers with me to make sure I got a haircut cause apparently it looked wild.

Other things Ive heard and added to my deit but help with hair health is almond butter, tangerines (Ive nearly eattin the whole bag we just bought today......) , spinach, nuts, cinnamon (I add it to my coffee).

I also use scrunchies in my hair to stop breakage and have been debating to get a silk night cap ( as my hair dreads in itself in my sleep)

    Prenatal vitamins actually work?

Someone suggested something called an Inversion Method to me once. Basically you flip your head upside down, massage your scalp for 5 or so minutes for one week and then it helps your hair grow somehow. Not sure if it actually works, but the massage feels nice.

I've been reading about the inversion method and the different hair mask people use while doing it. Has anyone tried the hair masks? Think it's got eggs, honey, coconut oil, and olive oil in one of the concoctions. Then I saw one with tee tree oil, vitamin E, castor oil and coconut oil.

Ha ha old memory. My sisters used to use eggs, honey and beer as a hair mask back in the 70's.

    Biotin breaks me out. :/

I get about a 1/2 inch of growth a month(which is pretty good I think) and I take a regular multi plus a quality omega3. My hair and nails both improved.
