Tuffwinder - I know!
The Dekker's, who used to own Guaranteed Gold, had several foals born by GG out of chestnut mares that had dark chestnut manes and tails and their bodies were dark chestnut as well. They often said if it wasnt them doing the actual breeding 342 days ago, they'd swear the stallions had been changed! And those foals did mature into very very dark golden palomino's as well
GG has several APHA foals. Out of both APHA dams and out of TB dams that are dual registered as Paints with the APHA. But I know for 100% certain, this is is first Appy foal ...
Cute cute cute! It will be absolutely fascinating to follow his shade patterns as well as his spot patterns
Oh, how lovely! It'll be neat to see how his coat progesses as he ages.
CUTE !!! WOW I like him !!! I don't care what you breed GG to you are always going to get something amazing out of it !!!! What a cute little foal that is !!
What a cutie! I too will be interested in following his developement. The one thing I have always loved about apps is the potential for dramatic color changes as they mature.
I love his facial markings. His head appears to be really nicely shaped and that further adds to my attraction to him (Like the spots and TB blood are not enough!).
I apologize if I missed this previously but what are the plans for this boy?
There's even a buckskin on there that looks for all the world bay. Must be a pretty dark based cremello.
He is so adorable. What a cutie.
He does look pretty dark: http://www.lattefarms.com/firstclasschip.html
Cacique just sent me this picture of Freckles - he is SO pretty! Especially for a colt!
