Fitting a western type saddle

    Corriente makes a nice trail type saddle and a few other models as well. We bought one for my husband and he was able to get short fenders on his adult sized saddle. Not my cup of tea (I'm an English rider) but for a customized saddle it was not nearly as expensive as I expected (650 shipped to the house as I recall), made to his specs, and he loves it.

    I sent the maker an email. But they don't deal with customers directly, only dealers. So I doubt they will respond.

    After reading more about the specs of both saddles, I think I will go with the QH tree.

    Charm is wider than Bakkir all around but not as wide as my Beauty was. So I think it will fit her.

    I'm not going to bother buying the cheap one on FB. It's not what I want. It's a shallow reason, but I hate the typical western Navaho pattern on the skirt.
