Specifically something that's good for trail riding.

I'm pretty happy with the pad I have now but it's getting pretty beat up. I'm pretty sure I can have it fixed but I'd like to have a good backup. Any suggestions for something light and comfortable for hot days on the trail?

I hit post, then read that over and realized that I used "pretty" three times in a very short post. Embarrassing. :blushing:

I like my 5 Star. Nicest pad I’ve had.

I also love my 5 star... and I use a thinline on top of it.

I'm thinking about getting a thinline to put on top of my 5 star. Do you ever have any slipping issues? Did you cut the thinline down to fit or did it come in the right size?

I have two diamond wool pads and they work great.

My thinline is the western half pad, so it sits on top of the 5 star and is basically just under the saddle tree

I have a 2 5 star pads and a Diamond Wool pad. I love them both, but the diamond Wool goes better on Tex and the 5 stars on everyone else, lol.

I feel like Diamond Wool is a more affordable version of 5 Star.

I love my 5 star pads. I usually put a Back On Track western thing pad underneath as well.
