    Everyone, meet Charlie.

Charlie is a 4 year old pacing bred STB gelding. He raced last year, had a seasmoid bone removed at the end of the season, and has been deemed sound for recreational riding.

He has been saddled a few times, but I haven't quite had the right time to hop on. Soon!

He is a sweet horse with a touch of sass, just the way I prefer.

He and my coming four year old pony have been playing all sorts of stupid gelding games, like bitey face and let's tear blankets.

Without further ado, meet the man:

His lines: The Blood Bank - Pedigree

Of course! I don't see that either me or the horse are destined for some kind of greatness, but as long as we can bum around together on the trails, that's all I need!

His breeder/former owner also offered to teach me to drive this summer. Should that work out, I would love to do a little recreational driving as well.

What a beautiful boy! And he looks like a cuddle bunny. I LOVE STBs - such great horses! Can't wait to see more of him.

STB racing is so dead in Michigan, I didn't think there was a chance I'd be able to find one.

But a former HGS member mentioned her neighbor had a STB she was looking to sell, and the rest is history. :)

I like everything about him except the super long gaskin.

Hop on. He isn't going to do a thing but turn his head slightly and look at ya.

C'mon lady, only two pictures? That's all we get?:alien:o_O
Love him. Nice, thick bone and compact...and dark...my favorite kind.
So, if they pace can/ do they still trot ?
What are you going to do with him ?

He had some digestional upset when he first came, so I've been letting him adjust to a different diet. Noticeable improvement already. :)

Biggest issue is that my darn husband and I work such different schedules, and I'd like him to be here to help. Also, MI has finally decided that winter should arrive. :(

But, DST is here and that should make it easier.
