    So what even happened with this post? I will not, I repeate will not/don't deal with rearers. Horrifying imo. I will gladly take a bucker or bolter! I wouldn't even know how you deal with a rearer. My first horse did throw a nasty buck and use to bolt. So that's what I learned to event on at age 11. Wasn't the best idea to buy an 11 year old girl a nasty bucker but that's what my gramma did.

    I did buy a 7 year old off he track last year, who didn't run because he was a flipper/didn't load in the gate. He has a decent brain. Gets that typical hot TB brain once in a while. He did throw a mini episode of threatening to rear and was balking badly.. got away with it once. I came back the next day and has spurs on and a crop. He quickly learned. When he's 'done' or tired he try's to stop and gets a pony kick D:!
