Very interesting thread. Can't believe I missed it 'till now. Great reading and information.
CM, now you need to get a mini! They are highly addictive, so make that 2 mini's.
Ahhh don't encourage me!!!
I've seriously considered it but it's not a wise financial decision for me right now (I board). There are 3 minis at our barn, though, so I get my fix I actually suspect some form of dwarfism in the smallest mini after looking at the examples here, but I'm no expert.
My coach just bought three minis. One of them is a pinto named...Confetti.
I love it! I almost died of cute.
Oh I know that snarky expression oh too well! LOL
Here's a current winter woolies pic Trying to get his mohawk (roached his mane this summer) to grow out but it just keeps getting longer and still sticking up! buahahha
He's much smaller than my 34" mare lol
ooooh i found the snarky expression *shun the big horse! shuuunnnnn*
Do you know the registered name? I used to own a black and white pinto mini mare named Confetti. Not a name you hear very often
Not a clue, she's just a baby, I think about 4 months old? I thought it was the cutest pony name ever!
"Ahhh don't encourage me!!!"
But it's the members' job to keep you Mod's on your toes.....and if you're busy with a couple of mini's, just think of the trouble we can get into!
Munchkin is 31 inches and thinks he's the size of a Belgian hitch gelding judging by the way he'd torment Ted. When Ted would come in from pasture to check the little members of his herd, Munchkin would sneak attack his knees through the common fence and there wasn't a thing Ted could do to get even since his nose wouldn't fit through the 5 foot high the cattle panels.
Ahhh not the same one then. I love the name, too
She's black and white too though
I'm not allowed to have minis. It would be impossible for me to treat them like horses. They are too adorable. I like seeing them at other people's places.
Separate names with a comma.
