I was brushing out my new horses tail for the first time yesterday, and found out that she has a HUGE knot in it! It looked liked the horse had never had her tail brushed before in her whole 9 years! It starts at the end of her tail bone and goes about a foot or so down. I would never consider cutting it off at the begining of summer, but will in fall if I must. I am going to start tackling it with a long toothed comb tomorrow and see if I can get anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions?
