Because I'm ridiculously excited about this, I wanted to share Wisdom Panel DNA results on my boy, Brooks (picture in mega-format below).

62.5% American Staffordshire Terrier (code name for "pit bull"; totally obvious); 12.5% boxer (totally expected); and 25%...St. Bernard (totally WTH?!?!). There are a strange amount of wandering St. Bernards around here, as I see them frequently on lost/found dog groups, but...was NOT expecting that one!

Anyone else done DNA tests on their dogs? What were your results?

I think so, too! He also has a sprinkling of freckles on the side of his snout you can't see in the photo.

The wisdom panel isn’t 100%;) my Clinic recommends it for entertainment purposes only. Particularly since many breeds have other breeds to help create them. He looks bully/vaguely mastiff-ish... the various mastiffs often have many large ancestors in common.

I used the same company back in 2013 for my Chihuahua X. Dad was supposed to be a MinPin. We saw her brother from a previous litter, looked just like a minpin.
She's a 13# little dog. Perfectly proportions and quick as a whip! Great rat or Robin catcher.

I can't find the files with the pictures and diagram, but found some text from an email.

Chillie is 50% Chow Chow, 25% Miniature Poodle, and 25% mixed breed.

    Yeah...no.

The other breeds in there, I only remember one of, giant schnauzer. :ROFLMAO:

We were thinking dad was a schipperke or similar. Personality and puppy look was just like one.
After being fixed, she developed a spay coat and looks real different. Has always had a double coat, thin, sleek, easy to manage, but now it is thicker and undercoat never sheds. A nasty mess that mandates she's shorn yearly. She's like a mini LGD with that coat, lol.

For the record I could totally see Chillie being half chow half toy-sized poodle mix!

Here’s my pup Olive, who came back as 50% husky, 25% border collie, and 25% mini dachshund.

What a great face! And yes: those results sound questionable at best.
