    Really no need to get a yearling colt when you don't even know anything about halters. What's wrong with taking lessons for at least a few years, or at least half-leasing a steady eddy lesson horse?

    I guarantee you, if you go ahead with your plan to get a yearling colt, it will end badly for both you and the horse.

    One quick google search would have answered this question, which is why I was thinking troll. It's far more complicated to make a post on a forum that a google search. Could be wrong though! But I hope not!
