Thanks! I had originally picked a different one but I am really glad I changed. The other one was much too dark!
Most of the big painting is done. Just need to do the two bathrooms, closets, and laundry room. I changed the great room wall color. What I had originally was super dark. And yes, that wall is a chocolate color called "Mississippi mud". It's dark and I love it.
I'm such a fan of open floor plan...that's going to be such a wonderful space!!! The ceiling/beam thing is outstanding, too. Bravo!
This is making me really want to move our air handler (it's practically in the middle of the living room/kitchen space) to open things up more!
I put mine in a scuttle attic area similar to what hes working on, for lack of floorspace, spare closet, and the crawl space was deemed hostile environment. Worked out fine. Blows down wall vents to the 1st floor. And isnt obnoxiously loud even in the room/s directly below it.
Just don't locate the air handler above a sleeping area...we made that error with our addition and it's noticeable in our master bedroom. Not "horrible", but it would have been nicer had it be located about 20 feet farther away.
We are taking a hard look at going with ductless. There is no good location to relocate our air handler to
I assume you mean Mini-Split system, froglander...they are a very nice solution in cases where duct work isn't practical.
