Just curious how many breeders have found their mares going "over due" this season? Been hearing a lot locally about mares going over their "normal" times? Just curious how common it is this year

This ^ it seems all are over - quite a few extreme amounts.

The 2 that have had babies this year were both other.
One was 2 weeks and the last one was over 20 days.
Currently my mare is over (less than a week but I am impatient).

Mine was over 6 days but I suspect it only having to due with it being a colt.

Day 341 - not quite "overdue" but as slowly as she has been changing I feel like it is going to take forever at this rate.

They are NOT overdue until they go past 370 days.

My mini mare is already past 330 days and has almost no bag! Looks like she is gonna hold out at least 3-4 weeks and minis usually foal earlier, closer to 320 days. Ugh! My mini mare that always foals approx 340 days is bagging on schedule. Maiden mini is 305 days and no bagging.

Any theories on why this could be occurring? I just thought it was interesting that so many mares are going longer than they usually do

Mine foaled a day 342--so NOT overdue.
