They both look like very nice horses. Defiantly will excel in WP. I really like the first one. She's flashy, but I like the way she moves. She needs some finishing, but I'd bet she'd do great in All-Around. She moves a lot like a stud I was showing in all-around. He was a killer pattern horse. She looks to be a bit more broke than the first one too. Her transitions are nice and fluid.

Second one looks like your typical WP horse. Kind of small and fine boned. Would need some work on her transitions.

If you are just looking to do WP- I say the second horse.
If you want to do all around, go with the first one.

First horse looks REALLY painful and weak behind. Stifles or hocks maybe.

See, for me....the 1st horse moves strung out and flat, and throws herself up in the front...hence the bigger head bob than the 2nd. I would also be concerned about her hocks because they look to be overly angled and REALLY hitchy the way she uses them, they is no swing...only upward movement of them. The 2nd horse has a much better front leg, better swing with the hock hands down, and MUCH better movement than the first. I see the 1st horse as a nice novice youth or novice am horse, but the 2nd one has amateur and open look.

The first one seems to be forced into those gaits to me, she does not look comfortable or natural.
