I'm not sure what it is, but I'm really not a huge fan of this one. He seems...clunky ?? Or really heavy on top with tiny legs. I'm really not sure. But if you want HUS, go with the filly. If you want all-around without great HUS, go with the gelding.
The sire is known more for Western Pleasure. It would depend on the dam of this one, and the bloodlines.
Eh, I like your other choices better. This one is ok and he looks quiet but nothing really show stopping about him.
Oh gosh I really like him. I'm not sure if his movement is the best for HUS , but he is only 2. I love how he Carrie's himself.
I'm a cow horse person, so I'm not the most reliable for this critique !!
I’m completely biased here because his sire is the same as my show mares.
I like him. He’s got nice body but maybe short necked? He would definitely be something that would be competitive in the HUS but would still be able to cross over to the western events. His trot isn’t quite as nice as the IAAB filly but here’s where you have to weigh what you truly want to do. I doubt that IAAB filly will do western at all.
I will say I can vouch for the Crashed the party minds. My mare is out of a natural iron mare and he really helped! She has a great temperament. Not the typical natural iron temperament.
Is this gelding the one out of a thoroughbred mare that went through the Congress super sale last fall?
I agree. I like this one the most but I'm coming from someone looking for a ranch horse LOL He looks like a super athletic and versatile guy.
Dam is Charlie’s Looker, a Thoroughbred
Dam is a Thoroughbred
