this is for awesome horse coats, since we have weird face markings, and rare coat colours

thought would be good to do one for common coat colours and markings

not weird of course :) but, I think he's pretty cool looking...

I've been told he must be part appy because of having stripped hooves, or part paint because of his markings.. but, of course he's not lol. this is my Hanoverian/selle francais with 3 stockiings, a blaze and chin spot, and belly spot :)

He's usually got some intense reverse dappling this time of year as well, but I haven't been out in a couple weeks =/

Well I can post a couple of pics of black Shetlands with rosson tail.
It's not a rare color, but it's not common either, it's a recessive gene wich can be traced back to the stallion Rosson of Transy hence the name. The tail turns black when the pony is 2-4 years old. They are born looking as an ordinary black, but the White tail becomes visible during there first shed.
But I know a stallion who is 4 years old now and he still has White in his tail, and when he was younger he had White in his mane, so he's kinda rare ;)
It has, to my knowledge, never occured in a bay horse.

Älvåsens Kyra as a one year old, and as an adult.

Bäckdalens Cavat as he matures to an 4 year old. Last Picture was taken when he was approved for breeding :D

And Kilskogens Grentzel from Young to an adult stallion approved for breeding. He is a "normal" one.
