What a pretty horse I must say! You too look to be doing fantastically with each other ;D!
They just love him to bits, so do I, he's a great horse.
Spent 2.5hrs there and an hour or so on my guy working on some things, lots of just standing and waiting patiently, he did great, usually, he is a squiggle worm.
They gave me some great tips and homework, LOL! =D
Trainer took some pictures, too.
The cones, they called to him, "chew us, chew us!" Lol
And here, working on very light contact. I leaned to see the cones, gotta work on that...
It was so nice to be on flat ground!
IDK if these will be in order, but we'll see.
Went there for our wedding anniversary, too. May 15.
We had to work on the water hole at home, but he got it like it was no issue....idk why her water hole was an issue....
Oops, a few more anniversary pics.
Then back to more recent pics, Oct 1st.
2nd he hated packing the bit, so on the 4th, went back to bitless and he settled down.
I made a path through the track to be more like a flat outside area of an arena to work on our trotting better.
Ugh, whoops. 3rd post up, only the first 3 pics are from our 3 day anniversary trip. Didn't take many pics.
The colorful obstacle ones are later on in spring when we went for a fun obstacle course day.
Cut through the track so we can better work on our turns at speed and transitions and not have to double back all the dang time. Its been good practice for ignoring the buffet under his feet, too.
I've been able to maintain his weight, still overweight some, but with slowly upping his workload, I should be able to get him to a good number and stay there. You can't imagine how happy I am about that!
I was able to find a few more anniversary pictures!
He kept knocking the ball n bucket hoping there were treats in there. Nope.
Hahahaha, he's so tiny!!
I asked if he was being bad, this look was his response.
Just nosing around for possible treats, he doesn't chew on non food items like my others do.
Our first trail ride on our new land.
No fence to keep us out of spooking into the deep creeks, lol.
