I guess they had her to check yes or no
Sending healing vibes....
Well Chloe came home today. She's on Neopolydexamethasone 4x a day, Dorzolamide 3x a day, banamine 2x a day, and Gastroguard 1x a day. She has on a mask over that eye that has a piece of gauze in it to be changed once a day. The hose in her name is the lavage for the eye drops.
I was just about to come looking for an update, and here it is! Glad you're through the procedure and on the way to healing.
Also, love the cat chilling in the background!
She looks ready for Halloween!
Glad she is home and I hope things heal up well.
It seems like it's something everyday, lol.
Giving 7 shots followed by 2mL of air to push the meds through the lavage everyday, and gastro guard and banamine orally. I've stuck myself with the needle 2 times, lol. The first night I removed her mask, I noticed it was wet under her eye, but after further investigation and speaking with the vet, we determined that was sweat, not discharge. Then I couldn't get the port changed because it won't unscrew from the catheter, and I'm afraid to use pliers and break something then have to drive 2.5 hours to get it fixed. Then last night after removing the mask, I noticed her stitches had come out of the her cheek and the line is just hanging....so what is the fix? SUPER GLUE. so I glued it to her face.
Oh my. What an adventure!
Awwww. Poor Chloe . i am glad she's recovering. Hope she keeps improving. Stop sticking yourself!
I'm so sorry I missed all of this Egirl!
I'm so happy to hear she's home and you're getting a great education on eyes
Pupil is dilated, that's why it looks so weird. You can see the glue at the top left of the eye. Sorry it's sideways... I was taking pics to send to the vet tonight.
