i need a pair of bell boots for my barrel racing mare; any suggestions on which brand/type of bell boots to buy?

right now she has these ones but they tend to rip a lot by the velcro part:: http://www.theequinest.com/images/bell-boots.jpg

The professional choice ones hold up well. The classic equines are also nice.

I wouldn't every leave the no-turn boots on for longer than a day out in the pasture. If something got trapped underneath (briar, grass, chunk of wood, whatever) it could stay stuck for awhile. The rubber bell boots turn around and stuff can move around and leave.

I have some of the ribbed bell boots, and no turns. They both work well for their own purpose.

I have Classic Equine boots on my mare. I'm a barrel racer and everyone knows we like the flashy colors and they have Zebra and my blue. :)

I would not leave them on 24/7. I would get rubber bell boots for that.

I LOVE the pink cheetah ones! Have you seen the matching polo wraps and boots? They are too cool!

I also wouldn't use no-turn bells for turnout. I have used the Professional's Choice quick wrap bell boots for turnout and riding and really like them. I think plain rubber bells are easiest and most comfortable for daily wear though.
