This is just merely curiosity, but if everyone pulled their money in their savings and checking accounts and even refi'd at another bank, do you think Bank of Americs would realize that the customers ARE how they make their money or would the Govt just pat them on the head and give another handout?

If BOA was the only bank I'd quit dealin' in money. I have absolutely NO use for them.

We have everything with them and my plan is to check out a credit union to move to. We have a home equity line of credit and I'd have to see how we'd change that over but otherwise, my bank accounts are gone.

I fired BOA last year after having an account with them since I was 18 years old and they were called C & S Bank. I already had a credit union account with Delta Federal Credit Union but I opened another one at another credit union to replace the closed account.

I would rather bury my money in the yard than to ever do business with a bank again.

I wish that BofA would get their head out of their butt. I hate them but they are everywhere and you don't have to really ever deal with a person if you don't want to. Their fees through are outrageous.

But big banks deserve to make a profit, who else can afford robosigners for mortgage and foreclosure papers? I loved getting rejected for a credit card with bank of america with a 730 credit score. Went to American Express and they were more than happy to help me.

My hubby has an account with them when he's working on the road, and we have all of our money in a different bank. But I'll be closing his account and opening a one in another bank. I have my mortage with Bank Of America, which sucks. It was with Countrywide Home Loan for YEARS, then BoA bought them out.
