Banamine as a preventative? You got any stories like this?

    I mean.. it technically can help reduce the affects, but not prevent it all together...
    It works the same as when we take preventative NSAIDS before we ride, work out, etc. We will still be hurting...

    Some people are either nuts, or they will believe anything. No. Don't do that, ok?

    No, this is not right, there is no comparison. Banamine tears up the stomach, you ONLY use it in an emergency, and it cannot be given days in a row without some serious risks. It is NOT a trivial drug! it is not an aspirin! I won't say 'it's not an nsaid' because nsaids are really very not 'just' anything either. They're serious medication taken way too lightly and way too often.

    ALL nsaids tear up stomachs.
    I'm a medical professional and I know EXACTLY how this medication works. I agree, don't do It! But in the case of laminitis it could TECHNICALLY help.
    I am all about admitting when I am wrong, but in this case I can tell you I am right.
    Laminitis = inflammation of the laminae
    NSaid= non-steroidal anti Inflammatory. They literally go hand in hand.

    Now the colic thing is just dumb.
