And this is our lovely spring weather. Ice, sleet, rain, a little snow.
That was my yesterday ugh
I got a sunburn yesterday while playing ringmaster at a schooling show.
Plus it's income tax deadline day.
It's ridiculous. My truck was frozen shut this morning. It is probably STILL frozen shut. I walked to the barn because SCREW THIS .
Here too (Eastern Ontario). Yesterday and continuing today with more of the same. I don't think our forecast improves until the end of the week. Mostly around freezing temp-wise and rain/snow/ice. Goody. Hoping it isn't going to be like last year, when we were still burning wood into June.
Every thing is frozen. The horses tails are a solid sheet of ice. Brought them in, pulled blankets and gave them a thorough rub down, and blankets back on! Both got a hot hay pellet mash to perk them up. It took a while to get their tails warmed up so they weren’t a block of ice! Luckily their blanket protected most of the tail.
Every thing is covered in ice.
Yep. Truck still frozen shut. Walking tonight it is.
I can hear the trees groaning and cracking. Strange sound.
MY POOR DAFFIES AND TULIPS!
We are getting dumped on too
This time last year, it was 80 degrees! Good luck on the sunburn.
Speaking of which.... I need to finish my state ones.
Yuck. Local meterologist says cold into April means a not too hot summer. I'm okay with that, I guess.
Your place looks just like mine! Charlie got his blanket, Jack is still pretty chipper and warm.
My poor daffodils look the same!
My area has a whole tourism industry built on a festival for tulips the first week in May. Wonder how that will go....
