Can you share?
Care to share? I can't find the page! Thanks !
From April 14 of this year
Caleb Update! He's getting quite festive with Easter coming up this weekend! He has also finally been fitted with his new prosthetic boot! Jon Allen and his team from Alberta Orthotic and Prosthetic Center have been busy designing and finally got to put it to the test. #delaneyvetservices#happycaleb
I'm not sure when this one is from. Presumably before they surrendered him to Delaneys
In better weight, but good gawd they are just ignoring the whole hoof is gone. Can it really be called a prosthetic when there is no foot on that? Whole leg into hip is dropped.
Those hooves...what is going on? Caked with something, holes up high, ribbed growth and then sanded down or?
And that swelling up so high....
That poor horse. No horse should be made to live like that.
“Saving” then isn’t always noble. Or right. Sometimes right is giving them a peaceful, merciful end.
That leg is all kinds of messed up.
I am amazed he gained weight.
I wish they would just end his pain.
Vet clinic just posted another update of him a few days ago! I was going to post the photo but forgot...let me see if I can get it off my phone.
Caption: "Caleb Update! Snow cruising with his prosthetic!" Posted on Tuesday.
What an awkward looking picture, that boy has to be hurting somewhere
Clearly not comfortable on that leg. Not surprisingly.
