I want to sell this saddle but I'm not sure what my asking price should be so I need your help! :)

    SPECS:
    - Ainsley brand, Made in England
    - Pro National Cross Country model
    - 18" seat
    - Wool flocking, appears to be a narrow tree
    - Brand new with original tags!

The "stuff" on the leather is the protective wax finish. The leather is really nice (smells SO good!) and the quality throughout is excellent.

    $800 (older, suede knee rolls)

I'd start around $1,500, but it's going to be tough to get it:( I'm sure you'll have to take an offer. Probably expect to get around $1,200, maybe $1,000, although the saddle is worth more. It's a tough market, though, and the saddle is very narrow, so will need just the right rider/horse. Ainsleys are such nice saddles, but they aren't as well known here so don't bring as much. I'm surprised how much VTO is asking for the first one. You see a lot of used Ainsley saddles going from $550 to $750.

Love them but they set me in the wrong position. I would ask $1200 for it if you want to hang on to it and $950 for a major quick sale.

You'll have a really hard time with is because of how narrow it is. I sold my VERY lightly used one a few years back for a mere $500, and it took me over a year to sell it. There isn't much of a market for them, but I can say it's one of the most comfortable saddles I've ever sat it. They do run HUGE though. I generally take a 17" saddle, and when I bought mine it swamped me. They are the greatest saddle for LONG legged riders though, bet fit I've ever had for my long thigh.
LOVE these saddles, and do wish you the best selling it.
