For those of you who don't know, I am a volunteer at the Legendary Mustang Sanctuary in Illinois. We take in mustangs, train them, and adopt them out to loving homes. Yesterday, we went to a BLM holding facility to pick up some new prospects! We went with the intention of adopting 2 geldings old enough to ride. We ended up with 3 yearlings. There were a lot of horses there. So. Many. Yearlings. We picked out a gray, a sorrel, and *gasp* a blue roan! We were lucky enough to find a blue roan with a good mind and promising conformation. Takeoff! That would be Pretty Blue looking back at the camera. We had such a good time! I am so blessed to have a place like this to learn. I have been taught so much. I hope you all enjoy looking at these beautiful mustangs. I go a lot more in-depth to the whole trip on my blog. Give it a read if you're interested! www.Godmadeamustang.wordpress.com Oh. Can't forget the burros.
