They are not sweating yet, but it's only been about 90. If you get a good sturdy fly sheet they are probably going to sweat. The lighter weight ones tear super easy. One of my horses had his lighter one ruined in 24 hours and the other in 48 hours. With pigeon fever spreading fly control is the most important aspect so I will take some sweating. Hope that helps.

      Hi RoyalJulie!

I had a made a thread awhile back about fly sheets in florida and if they were too hot and you had said that, "I live in an hour from the Gulf Coast. I use the Cashel with belly band, plus Cashel leg wraps and long nose with ears fly mask. Love, love, love. They had another brand that was ruined in less than 2 days."

I was just wondering if your horse sweats in your Cashel? Because that is my number one concern with my horse Annie. I really want to get her a fly sheet but I want to make sure it is the most breathable, cool fly sheet as possible (seeing as it can get VERY hot and humid here in Florida!).
So is your horse able to stay cool in his/her flysheet in the Florida heat?

      Thanks so much!
