yeah u should, with the whole natersmom thing
Haha I should have known!!!
Is this Savannah?
I will have to look at them. Hopefully I will have a horse by this summer! And can start showing!
Yea thats why I never looked into them before because I compete in show jumping. Now they can jump, but because they tend to be denser they can develop problems simply because theyre so heavy. Now some are more refined, but not all, but if you can get a friesian cross youd be good to go! Strong and athletic! I never thought id be intersted in one, but Friesian/Saddlebred crosses are really nice!
I felt the same way!! But I've always loved them and thought they were beautiful but was told they could never jump.
I have always thought Friesians were absolutely beautiful, but I saw them as dressage horses so I was never interested in owning one. Now that I have Sophie though I think my breed of choice is going to be any sort of Friesian sport horse or cross of some sort. She is so easy to work with and handle and I could trust her with my life shes amazing. I love Friesian crosses now as my show horse!
I am from the Warrenton area, I have shown at the Warrenton horse show, and at a show in Culpeper, can't remember what that one is called. What shows do you go to?
Hey, I didnt want to post in the thread, but im from Bridgewater area. Rockingham county, close to James Madison University. Where are you from and what shows do you tend to go to? I do some locally here in Harrisonburg, as well as Lexington, Richmond, Berryville, and Natural Bridge area.
