She actually hadnt been shown in 17 years.. The lady that owned her was 82 the year that I shoed her... but in her younger days she had deff been shown.. as soon as she got into the ring she pulled out her old moves... Lets just say I think she had been shown a bit much and she was a little ring sour... but at home she was fine... that must have been the underlying reason that she hadnt been shown in 17 years! haha! I have more pics of that day I showed her if you want me to post them... ?

Lol! Yes, it seems like a lot of Morgans tend to have a "stuck gas pedal". :D Wow, that's amazing that she was still competing at 27. Cool!

That's too bad that she had to be put down. :( I wonder how long she would have lived and competed had that not happened.

yes...! the only time Ive ever shown saddleseat... it was fun, but pretty intense! that horse had the strongest mouth ever and had NO breaks! She was 27 at the time... You would never guess!
unfortunatly since she had a bite on her leg that no vet could figure out what it was from. It turned infected and her whole leg was 5 times the size it should have been. The skin stretched so far it split open all over her leg... the whole thing turned to rotting proud flesh and she had to be put down.. a true heat break. It happened only months after her owner had passed...
